Service Description

When asbestos is removed from a building, a clearance inspection is required to be completed by an independent party to the asbestos remover. The steps involved in the inspection will depend on whether the removed asbestos is Class A or B. The aim of both is to ensure that asbestos containing materials (ACM) have been removed and the area thoroughly cleaned so that it is safe for reoccupation. Both types of inspection generally include a preliminary site check and a visual inspection of the work area. Air monitoring, surface sampling and further assessments are generally required for Class A inspections. When the inspector is satisfied that the building is safe, they will issue a Certificate of Reoccupation. Samples collected during the survey are analysed by an IANZ accredited laboratory. Results are documented in a clearance inspection report that will be sent to the client. Our team provide expert asbestos inspection solutions anywhere in the country so get in touch if we can help you. Free quotes provided.
